Hai Kang Life Granted ISO 13485:2003 Accreditation for in-vitro Clinical Molecular Diagnostics
Hai Kang Life Corporation Limited (HKLife) announce today that it has been granted the ISO 13485:2003 quality management system accreditation for the design and manufacture of its in-vitro clinical molecular diagnostics.
As a pioneering biotechnology company in Hong Kong, HKLife has long excelled in R&D and commercialization of molecular diagnostics. Our market-leading position is marked by receiving various accreditations and awards in this area of expertise.
Quality assurance has always been of utmost importance to HKLife and our subsidiaries; our partners and clients are guaranteed of our commitment to meet the highest quality standards in all HKLife products and services. Since 2000, HKLife has been accredited with ISO 9001 ˇV the first private biotechnology company in Hong Kong to bear this quality mark. We were also granted ISO 17025 in 2003 - the first laboratory in China to perform both qualitative and quantitative genetically modified organism (GMO) testing with real-time PCR technology with granted accreditation from the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS). Our ISO 17025 accreditation has already been extended to include certification in Microbiology analysis and testing in food.
Apart from the above accreditations, we have also received various international recognitions. The prestigious Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award for Production Differentiation Excellence Award for In-Vitro Diagnostics is one of the many to name.
